Trivia, points and free packs

Who runs it

• Sponsor. Big Bad Agency, which operates Waffles.cards. Questions about these rules or a prize: [email protected].
• Who can take part. Anyone with a Waffles account that is open and not on hold. Waffles is intended for adults (see the terms). Not available where the law does not allow it.
• No purchase necessary. Answering trivia, checking in and finishing daily tasks cost nothing. Buying a pack does not improve your chances in trivia.

Chat trivia and the room quiz

• How a question works. Griddy — the shop's chat bot, marked WAFFLE in the room — posts a multiple-choice question. Reply in chat with a letter. Your first letter is your answer; a wrong first answer cannot be changed.
• Who wins. The first correct answers, in the order the server receives them, score points. The points for each place are stated in the room with the question and in the result line. A question closes when its places are filled or its time runs out; answers after that do not count.
• Limits. There are daily limits on the points one account can win and on the points the shop pays out in a day. When a limit is reached, a round still runs but says in the room that it is just for fun. If trivia is paused part-way, the open question is not scored.
• Prizes are points only. Points are not money. They cannot be sold, transferred, or exchanged for cash or credit. What points do is below.

What points are for

• Your points rank. Every point you earn counts toward your rank, and your rank sets your sell-back rate. Spending points never lowers it. The full ladder.
• Free packs. Earning enough points mints a free-pack token on your account; a token opens one pack of real cards, exactly like a bought pack. How many points a token takes, how close you are, and whether tokens can be opened right now are shown on your Rewards page — the shop sets the step and it can change.
• Welcome points. A new account gets 250 points. They do not count toward a free pack.
• Referral points. When a friend who used your invite makes their first purchase and it settles, you each get 500 points.
• Fair play. Points won with more than one account, with scripts, or by any other way around these rules may be removed. Every award is made by the server and is in your points history.

Community rules

• Be decent. No harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, scams or spam — in chat, in your bio or in your name. Messages with language the room does not allow are refused when you send them.
• Report and block. Every message and every collector has a Report and a Block control. Blocking someone hides their messages, profile and activity from you and stops them following you or notifying you. You can unblock anyone from Account → Settings.
• Moderation. A person reads every report, and we can hide a message or close an account that breaks these rules. Contact: [email protected].
