How Waffles Works
Pick a pack. Rip it. Decide card by card.
Every Waffles pack contains exactly 4 cards drawn from a live, published inventory of real trading cards with real market values. Paying more never buys more cards — only better odds of a high-value hit. The odds are computed from live stock and shown before you buy.
The flow, start to finish
Browse the categories
Packs aren't sealed product and there are no "sets" — each pack is a category plus a price tier. Today that means Baseball, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Hit Pack and Pokémon. More categories are being scanned in and open as soon as their pool can back a four-card pack. Every card in every pool is listed with its market value, and dealt cards permanently leave stock.
Pick a price tier — $10 / $25 / $50 / $100
Every tier deals exactly 4 cards. A higher tier doesn't add cards; it shifts the odds of your hit slot toward the top value bands ($30–$99 and $100+ chase). The exact per-band odds for the tier you're holding are printed on the purchase sheet, computed live from remaining stock — see the odds page for the whole table.
Rip the pack
One tap tears the wrapper. Your 4 cards reveal one at a time — real card fronts, real sets, real market values. A rare roll on every purchase hits a God Pack, where every slot draws from the top value bands instead of the normal build. Same odds at every tier — the exact figure is published on the odds page.
Decide what happens to each card
As each card lands you choose its fate. Decisions apply the moment you finish the pack:
Instant sell-back credits 70% of market value at Bronze, rising to 90% at Diamond as your loyalty tier climbs (Bronze 70% · Silver 75% · Gold 80% · Platinum 85% · Diamond 90%). Listing suggests 95% and takes a 0% fee when it moves. Shipping is how you take physical delivery — pick a service at checkout and the card is packed and sent from Calgary.
The numbers that don't move
These are engine constants, not marketing copy — the same values the app uses to build every pack.
